2014 NAIG Progress Report

The Regina 2014 NAIG Host Society presented their progress report to NAIG Council at their meeting on November 16, 2012. The Host Society listed a number of new developments, including the completion of Revision 2 of their Business Plan 3 months in advance of the deadline. The Host Society has presented on several areas including; staffing, operations, policy development, sport delivery, athlete services, registration and accreditation.
The staffing plan has resulted in hiring of several professionals in various key positions and future hiring will follow the staffing plan between now and Games time. The following individuals have been hired:
- Mr. Glen Pratt, Chief Executive Officer
- Ms. Bonnie Soerensen, Executive Assistant
- Mr. Tom Dustyhorn, Chief Financial Officer
- Mr. Elmer Eashappie, Sponsorship Manager
- Mr. Joe Daniels, Sport & Venue Manager

The Host Society continues planning and NAIG Council is monitoring their compliance to the hosting standards. The Host Society’s next major reporting period is March/April 2013 where they will bring together team representatives for the first Mission Meeting (M1) and NAIG Council meetings. Further details will be provided later.
